### some background
I have finished watching Avatar: The Last Airbender (aka La leyenda de Aang), dubbed in Spanish. I only have about 10 words left in Refold's ES1K Deck. I feel ready to move on to Refold's stage 2A.

### Criteria for moving on to stage 2B
>You are ready to move on to Stage 2B when you have level 3 comprehension while reading an episode of a TV show. This should be an episode that you’ve never seen before, though it can be part of a series you have been watching.
>To evaluate your comprehension, watch the episode line-by-line, read the subtitles, but don’t do any lookups. You should be able to:
> - Recognize 50% of the words being used.
> That doesn’t mean that you understand or know these words, only that you get the sense that you’ve heard/seen them before.
> - Occasionally understand entire sentences.
> - Follow the plot points of the story, although the details will still be a mystery.
### the plan...for now
#### Ideal Daily Routine
- 30 min active immersion (watching native Spanish media with Spanish subtitles)
- 30 min free flow immersion (native or dubbed Spanish media, with or without TL subtitles. depends on level of comfort with content, but preferably without)
- any amount of passive listening
- anki review based on sentence mining
#### Minimum Daily Routine
- 30 min of any immersion, active, free flow, or passive listening
- anki review
#### Immersion Media

After looking at another person's immersion doc, I think I def want to start immersing with native material. Previously my plan had been to active immerse with Jane the Virgin spanish dub, and passive immerse with something like Death Note spanish dub, but...fuck dubs. Well not rlly fuq dubs, dubs can be great, but release the training wheels.
##### Current Media
**Active Immersion**
House of Flowers - makes a lot of sense actually because I've seen it already in English, and I enjoy the show. Later on, it'll be interesting to passive immerse with it and see.
**Free Flow Immersion**
Jane the Virgin - I still think watching dubbed content you've seen here makes a lot of sense
**Passive Listening**
Harry Potter series audiobooks, read by Carlos Ponce

#### Sentence Mining
Remember the goal is to increase your comprehension.
You want to take 1T sentences from your immersion content. 1T means only one unknown element in the sentence (basically you are creating an Anki card for the sentence to increase your understanding go of one word)
How to pick 1T words?
- Words that seem familiar.
- Words that seem accessible.
- Words that you like.
But remember you are mining a sentence - the sentence should help you understand what the word means from context. No trash dictionary definitions here.
What goes on the cards?
Front:
Text of sentence
(refold doesn't say this, but I will add audio)
Back:
Definition of the target word
Optionally, a picture from the content where you mi ned the word (not sure I will do this don't want the sentence to be so closely associated with the photo)
