Here's my current tech/tools/resources stack for learning Spanish: ### Methodology & Approach [Refold](https://refold.la) - I have relied heavily on Refold's Spanish fluency roadmap to structure my approach to learning (w/immersion, vocabulary) and on Refold's Spanish and general Discord for community and finding resources. ### Vocabulary [Anki](https://www.ankiapp.com) - Flashcard application with a spaced repetition (SRS) algorithm. I use it for vocabulary recognition. [Migaku](https://www.migaku.io) - Chrome extension I use for pulling sentences directly from immersion content into Anki, w/screen capture and recording. [SpanishDict](http://spanishdict.com) - Website and mobile app with bilingual (Spanish <-> English) dictionary, conjugation, and grammar lessons. [RAE](https://dle.rae.es) - Monolingual Spanish dictionary. [FreeDictionary](https://es.thefreedictionary.com) - Monolingual Spanish dictionary. ### Immersion Content [Netflix](http://netflix.com) - Used for immersion content. [Youtube](http://youtube.com) - Used for immersion content. [Dreaming Spanish](https://www.dreamingspanish.com) - Used for comprehensible input. Excellent resource at beginner stages, where comprehensible inptu can be difficult to find. [Spotify](http://spotify.com) - Used for immersion content. [Amazon Prime Video](https://www.primevideo.com) - Used for immersion content. ### Time Tracking [Airtable](http://airtable.com) - Used for time and immersion content tracking. --- Here are tools I have used in the past, but not anymore. [NordVPN](http://nordvpn.com) - In the past I have used this to force Netflix to show me Avatar with Spanish audio, but VPNs are just annoying to use. I'd rather find something like Avatar with Spanish audio...elsewhere on the Internet. [Polylogger](https://polylogger.com) - Have used this for time tracking. The community around it is kind of nice, but the app doesn't seem to get new development, and I have other personal interests I'd like to see reflected in my time tracking.
