## This Year
- Wedding planning. Bachelorette planning. I love my friends.
- Doing high priority work for Storable that goes back to first principles.
I never wrote a 2024 review. I’ll always remember 2024 as one of those years that simply defied categorization, defied reflection. It was go-go-go — I was acting. Being.
I got married. We got married. We spent two years planning a wedding and got to reap the fruits of our labor. We will forever be a we, and it was almost everything I could have wanted it to be. The loving crowd, the speeches, the music, the colors, the *dress*, all details we (I) painstakingly belabored over, and it went fantastic. We wanted to celebrate our love and the union of our families surrounded by all the people we love and who love us, and we did exactly that.
And it feels like almost everything about 2024 was leading up to that moment. I went to Miami to celebrate my last hurrah of singlehood with my girls.
I felt the childhood wonder like joy of picking a wedding dress, feeling gorgeous, feeling like a bride, watching the *look* come to life.
I played tour guide for my aunt and uncle and parents for a Med cruise. Never again.
We attended other weddings. Watched good friends, family friends, who were invited to our wedding move on to the next stage of their lives.
And now. What’s next? Relief. Rest. Enjoying this period of our lives where it’s just us. Debating how long it’ll be just us. I’ve been playing a lot of video games lately.
M bought me a Steam Deck for my birthday
