## 🎯 Activities Practiced - **Technical Exercises** - Focus: Quick Cmaj scale warmup. Cmaj chords. - **Repertoire** - Focus: Keyboard Musician - **Sight Reading** - Focus: Mikrokosmos (got hard 😂) ## 🏆 Notes & Observations - Scale warmup good. Want to work on parallel motion without looking at the finger numbering. - For Cmaj chords, improvement in being able to do each hand individually without looking. Was able to play the set (root —> 1st inv —> 2nd inv and back) back and forth a few times. Still tough to do both hands without looking. I stumble, find hand doesn’t know where it is and what to do next. There’s improvement though. I guess the idea is just to do it over and over again until each hand has its own muscle memory? Or familiarity? Should I be able to know what note each finger is on at all times? Doesn’t sound right. I also played em broken just for fun on individual hands. Pretty easy! - For keyboard musician, worked on a piece with some hand position changes. Two Peasant Dances was interesting. Hand was in the same position all the way throgg ugh h. But you’ll play a melody on LH, then a melody on RH, then a melody on LH that starts with a different note than the first melody. Would forget exactly which note a finger is on. Begs the question again, do pianists think or remember what note each finger is on? ex. 4th measure, I might accidentally hit F instead of G, for example. Should watch out for that, ask teacher if it continues to be an issue. - Tried to keep sightreading Mikrokosmos and it was hard as hell! Can’t sight read with hand position changes. I’m tired but might be better off using Mikro for study and the other exercises book I have for sightreading. ## 📊 Quick Stats - **Duration** (min): 54
