## π Notes & Observations
- Scales are OK once I get into it but I definitely have false starts. Like when I first press G I'm not actually ready to go on, or I press G then A and A comes out sounding too loud or too soft so I start again. Need to get in there that first time and play that scale with confidence.
- G maj chords OK. Decided to stop pressing to do it without looking, focus on accuracy. Speed will come.
- Learned Dmaj scales RH + LH individually.
- Keyboard Musician - replayed some of yesterday's unit 2 lessons and pieces. Continued on. Particularly enjoyed **Deep Cavern**, had a really punchy bass. First song to make me laugh w/delight! I took my headphones out so my husband could hear it. It also had me practice a jump down in octave without looking. Feeling out where that space is between E and F and positioning it accordingly. I like how this method book is making me use a lot more of the keyboard than I would have thought.
- Sight Reading Exercises from the Smith book up to 17 on pg5. I'm starting to recognize the language of interval jumps of seconds, thirds, fourths. Feeling good, like this time will be different, bc though quite basic I've never looked at music in this way before. Seeing the pieces coming together.
